Welcome to the website of the Eta Pi Zeta Chapter. The energetic, hard-working, phenomenal women of Eta Pi Zeta have developed programs and initiatives to serve the needs of the Montgomery County community since 1973. We strive to promote the sorority’s ideals of Scholarship, Sisterly Love, Community Service and Finer Womanhood in our daily lives and programming.

The women of Eta Pi Zeta are college educated, innovative women with diverse professional backgrounds who have a common goal to serve the community. We use simple beliefs, bold ideas, and the desire for change as tools to uplift those in need. Our members are excited to maintain and continue to grow our partnerships in the Montgomery County by providing service where needed.  Eta Pi Zeta is currently involved with multiple organizations, in conjunction with, our national initiatives and partnerships.  These national programs include, March of Dimes, Adopt-a-School, and Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel).

We encourage you to explore our website and our divine sisterhood.

A message from the Chapter President

I am humbled and grateful as the President of Eta Pi Zeta Chapter, such an award winning, action oriented, community service chapter.  As we embark on the 50th Year Eta Pi Zeta will continue to provide community service to the citizens of Montgomery County and the surrounding area through our signature programming under Z-HOPEâ„¢ (Zeta’s Helping Other People Excel). We will continue to provide STEM and Literacy programs for our adopted Elementary and Middle School. Sponsor the Zeta female student athlete of the week at our adopted High School. Host voter Registration drives targeting 17–21-year-old citizens. Educating them about the benefit and responsibility of being an informed voter, through our national Get Engaged Program.

We will continue to support expectant mothers in our Stork’s Nest a signature partnership with the March of Dimes Foundation which aims to increase the number of women receiving early and regular prenatal care to prevent cases of low birth weight, premature birth, and infant death.  We support area high school seniors through our Eta Pi Zeta Scholarship and our Juanita Robinson Scholarship which supports senior class members of our Archonette Youth Auxiliary Club.

Eta Pi Zeta will expand in our support of area-like minded organizations as we welcome our inaugural year of our Benevolent Beacon Foundation (The Foundation), organized under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The purpose is to provide community services, educational programs, and scholarships to improve the lives of the residents of Montgomery County, Maryland and to provide support to other public charities. We are a Community-Conscious, Action-Oriented Organization and we are here to serve.
